Big Lottery grant for Grangemouth's Bowhouse Primary

Well done to Bowhouse Primary School which has been awarded £2,000 from the Big Lottery Fund 2014.

The Grangemouth-based school will use the grant to organise extra-curricular skiing sessions for pupils in P6 and P7 and swimming for pupils in P3.

The project aims to encourage pupils and their families to take part in sport outside school and to take advantage of school holiday offers at a local dry ski slope and free swimming at local authority pools.

The cash will also fund after school skiing sessions, swimming sessions and transport costs.
